Advanced Tools

In geometry, there are certain basic constructions that are commonly used as tools to build up more complicated constructions. In C.a.R., many of these basic constructions can be performed by clicking a single tool. In this tutorial, we introduce the C.a.R tools that perform the following basic constructions:

• Find the midpoint of a line segment
• Construct the perpendicular bisector of a line segment
• Find the line perpendicular to a given line through a given point that is not on the line
• Find the line parallel to a given line through a given point that is not on the line
• Duplicate a circle (that is, construct a circle with a given center, that has the same radius as a different circle.)
• Duplicate an angle.
