First we learn to draw functions in C.a.R.

 

We already switched on the coordinate grid. In the C.a.R. application you can choose between axis and grid, and axis only.

  • Click on the function tool. A dialog opens.

  • Leave the definition [-10,10] interval and the step size 0.1.

  • The variable is x, and we enter "x^2" or "x*x" for the y-value. The x-value remains empty, since we want a function, not a curve.

  • Close the dialog.

We get the graph of the function x2.
