C.a.R. is a mighty program to do geometry on the computer. It features a very rich set of geometric objects, automatic generations of macros, animation, automatic tracks and polar sets, expressions for objects, Latex formulas, automatic exports for web pages, configurable graphics exports and much more. The program needs a Java environment.
C.a.R. free and open source. It is also a Sourceforge project. The main author of the program is Rene Grothmann a mathematician at the University of Eichstätt, Germany. Other projects have been derived from the main source, e.g., CarMetal with a different GUI. English is one of the two main language of C.a.R. But the program has been translated into many other languages.
Z.u.L. - Zirkel und Lineal

Z.u.L. ist ein mächtiges und ausgereiftes Geometrie-Programm. Haupteinsatzzweck ist die ebene Geometrie von der Schule bis hin zu Geometrie-Vorlesungen in der Universität. Automatisch erzeugte Makros, Ortslinien von Punkten und Geraden, berechnete Ausdrücke, Latex-Formeln, Webexport, Grafikexport mit Vorschau und viele andere Features erlauben flexible und tiefe geometrische Konstruktionen. So sind etwa Konstruktionen in der Poincaré-Geometrie oder in der sphärischen Geometrie mit Z.u.L. möglich. Das Programm benötigt lediglich Java und läuft damit auf fast jedem Betriebssystem.
Z.u.L. ist ein quelloffenes Programm und ein Projekt auf Sourceforge. Autor ist Rene Grothmann, ein Professor für Mathematik an der Universität Eichstätt. Deutsch ist einer der Hauptsprachen dieses Programms. Die Dokumentation ist vollständig in Deutsch verfügbar.
